under construction in Giza, Egypt, about 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Giza pyramid complex. The Museum hosts over 100,000 artifacts from ancient Egyptian civilization, including the complete Tutankhamun collection, and many pieces will be displayed for the first time. during the New Kingdom.

We will visit the Temple of Luxor, one the most beautiful temples in Egypt. It was known in the New Kingdom period as Ipt-Rsyt, which means the southern shrine. And it was the northern house of Amon Ra. The temple runs close and parallel to the Nile River from north to south. It was built by kings of the 12th dynasty and Amenhotep III was the architect and overseer of the works of construction at this time.

Day 5: Tuesday, March 9, 2027

After breakfast we will drive to the West bank. Upon arrival we will visit the Hatshepsut Temple. Queen Hatshepsut was one of the greatest queens and the second who ruled ancient Egypt. Hatshepsut was the fifth pharaoh of the eighteenth dynasty of ancient Egypt. She was the second confirmed female pharaoh who ruled Egypt. First was Sobekneferu. Hatshepsut took over the rule of Egypt in 1478 BC.

We will then drive to The Valley of the Kings, located on the west bank of the Nile River near Luxor. It is the most famous site for its unique collections of tombs and breathtaking ancient ruins. The location makes it one of the hottest spots for exploring ancient Egyptian history. Archaeologists have been sweeping the area of the Valley of the Kings for centuries, and it continues to surprise them. The Valley of the Kings is where the modern myth of Egypt began with Howard Carter’s discovery of

Tutankhamun’s tomb, complete with all the treasures with which he was buried. The fame of that discovery ushered in a new era of Egyptian tourism as the treasures of Tutankhamun toured the world and generated new, widespread interest in the history of Ancient Egypt.

Tombs of the Nobles are a collective term applied to tombs of workers, foremen, priests, soldiers, officials, viziers, princes etc. usually located in a major ancient site in Egypt. There are a number of tomb areas on the west bank at modern Luxor (Ancient Thebes) are known collectively as the Tombs of the Nobles that we will see.

We will visit the Tomb of Rekhmire, a significant archaeological site located in the Theban Necropolis on the west bank of the Nile River, opposite Luxor. Rekhmire was a vizier during the reigns of Thutmose III and Amenhotep II of the Eighteenth Dynasty of ancient Egypt. His tomb provides valuable insights into the administrative, social, and religious aspects of the period. Dinner and overnight on board our Nile River Cruise.

Day 6: Wednesday, March 10, 2027

After breakfast we will visit Edfu Temple, where we will enjoy a wonderful ride by a horse carriage through the village to the fantastic temple of Horus, one of the largest and best-preserved monuments of Egypt. Two beautiful granite statues of the falcon god Horus flank the entrance. From there we will visit the Kom Ombo Temple, where we explore the exceptionally beautiful temple of Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and Sobek (Crocodile God). The temple was built with two symmetric entrances, halls and sanctuaries. It is the only double temple in all of Egypt. Dinner and overnight on our Nile River Cruise as we sail to Aswan.

Day 7: Thursday, March 11, 2027

After breakfast we will start our day with a visit to the High Dam, also known as the

Aswan High Dam, a remarkable feat of engineering that has had a transformative impact on Egypt's modern development. Situated on the Nile River near the city of Aswan, this massive hydroelectric dam was built to control the Nile's floodwater, generate electricity, and provide a reliable source of water for agriculture. The High Dam stands as a testament to human ingenuity and a symbol of Egypt's modern development.

Next, we will proceed to the granite quarries and site of the Unfinished Obelisk. Illustrating the skills of Egypt’s stonemasons, this monolith is one-third taller than any other ancient Egyptian obelisk.

We will then visit the Philae temple on the island of Agilika. This sacred complex was dedicated to the goddess Isis and reflects a fusion of three great civilizations — Egyptian, Greek and Roman. The temple was dismantled and then painstakingly reassembled when the Aswan High Dam was constructed,

We will see the island of Elephantine is one of major Aswan attractions floating on the Nile River. The island is 12,000 meters situated in the center of the Nile River. It had an important strategic position of protecting the southern borders of Ancient Egypt, and during the 6th dynasty, which meant more than 3000 BC ancient Egyptian kings constructed a fortress on the island. Dinner and overnight on board our Nile River Cruise.

Day 8: Friday, March 12, 2027

After an early morning breakfast, we will start the day with a visit to Abu Simbel, a

historic site comprising of two massive rock-cut temples in the village of Abu Simbel, Aswan Governorate, Upper Egypt, near the border with Sudan. It is located on the western bank of Lake Nasser, about 230 km (140 mi) southwest of Aswan (about 300 km (190 mi) by road). The twin temples were originally carved out of the mountainside in the 13th century BC, during the 19th Dynasty reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II. Their huge external rock relief figures of Ramesses II have become iconic. His wife, Nefertari, and children can be seen in smaller figures by his feet. We will then transfer to Aswan Airport for our flight to Cairo. Upon arrival we will transfer to our hotel for dinner and overnight in Cairo.

Day 9: Saturday, March 13, 2027

After breakfast, we begin our day with by visiting Saqqara, one of the most important cemeteries of Memphis, which was itself one of the most important cities in ancient Egyptian history. The name of the site most likely derives from the god of this necropolis.

We will then visit the Egyptian Museum in Cairo (EMC), the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East, housing over 170,000 artifacts. It has the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world.

Dinner and overnight at our Cairo hotel.

Day 10: Sunday, March 14, 2027

After breakfast, we will visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), a national museum in Cairo. The museum displays a collection of 50,000 artifacts, presenting the Egyptian civilization from prehistoric times to the modern era.

We will then visit the Cave Church of Saint Simon the Tanner or the monastery of Samaan Al Kharraz, a miraculous monument found in the womb of divine mountains acting as a holy book made of stone showcasing the power of faith that can move the strongest mountains. It is one of the biggest churches in Egypt, the Middle East, and the world, able to shed some light on a holy display of allure made by the strength of belief, carved in the core of the deepest part of Cairo city. In the heart of this magnificent monument are the immortal tales and history of some of the most incredible miracles and honorable men of faith the world has ever seen.
